Renaissance Festival Costume


Scrappy skirt, fringed bracer, and earrings upcycled from thrift store t-shirts. Modified t-shirt top.  Belt, pouch, and boots commercially made.

  1. How did make the skirt? How you get the fabrics to curl like that?

    1. The individual pieces of fabric are attached to a pair of spandex short shorts. All the other pieces of fabric are jersey knit from old T-shirts which likes to curl up on its own. Some pieces are cut into long triangles. Some are long rectangles with diagonal cuts on alternating sides. That's what creates the seaweedy looking curls. Thanks for asking!
